Before sending a notice
Confirm that you own the copyright or are authorised to act for its owner. Consider whether the use is licensed, permitted by law, or qualifies as fair use. Knowingly making a false claim may have legal consequences.
What a copyright notice must include
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if several works are involved.
- The exact URL and enough detail for us to locate the material you want removed or disabled.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorised to act for the copyright owner.
Send the complete notice to support@iosred.com with the subject “Copyright notice”. Do not send private keys, passwords or unrelated customer information.
What happens next
We may ask for missing information, remove or disable access to identified material, preserve relevant records, and notify the person who supplied the material. A report does not automatically prove infringement.
Counter-notice
If material you supplied was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, email a counter-notice containing your signature, the removed material and its former location, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury explaining the mistake, and any jurisdiction and service statements required by applicable law. We may forward it to the original complainant.
Repeat infringement and misuse
Where appropriate, iOSRED may restrict or close accounts associated with repeated infringement. We may also act against misuse of the reporting process.
Contact route
The email route above accepts copyright complaints, but this page does not represent that iOSRED has registered a United States Copyright Office designated agent. Legal documents that require a registered agent or physical service must follow the legally recognised route for the relevant jurisdiction.
