Complete ESign iOS Installation & Certificate Signing Tutorial (2026)

Learn how to use ESign to sign and install modified IPAs directly on iPhone and iPad. Master importing .p12 certificates, mobileprovision profiles, and fixing 'Unable to Verify' errors.

No Computer Needed Direct On-Device Signing Full iOS 15-27+ Support

ESign is the industry-standard on-device IPA signing utility for iOS. By importing your own Apple Developer Certificate (or iOSRED signing credentials), you can sign, patch, and install unlimited modified IPAs directly from Safari without connecting to a computer.

1. Prerequisites Before You Begin

  • An iPhone or iPad running iOS/iPadOS 15.0 through 27.x.
  • The ESign application installed on your device.
  • Your certificate bundle: a .p12 private key certificate and matching .mobileprovision profile.
  • The IPA file you wish to install (e.g., Call of Duty Mobile, PUBG, or Farlight 84).

2. Step-by-Step Certificate Import Walkthrough

  1. Open ESign on your iOS device.
  2. Tap the Settings tab at the bottom right.
  3. Select Import Resource Management > Certificate Management.
  4. Tap Import Certificate and browse to your saved .p12 file and .mobileprovision file.
  5. When prompted, enter your certificate password (if none, leave blank or enter the password provided with your purchase).
  6. ESign will verify the certificate and display a green Valid Certificate indicator.

3. Signing and Installing Any Game Mod IPA

  1. Download the modded IPA from your iOSRED customer dashboard.
  2. Share or open the IPA file inside ESign (it will appear under the Apps tab).
  3. Tap on the IPA file and select Signature.
  4. In the signature configuration panel, verify your imported certificate is selected.
  5. Tap Signature. ESign will repackage and sign the application with your credentials.
  6. Once signed, tap Install to push the app directly to your home screen!

โš ๏ธ How to Fix "Unable to Verify App" Error

If iOS displays "Unable to Verify App" when opening a newly installed app:

  • Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management and tap Trust [Developer Name].
  • On iOS 16 and newer, navigate to Settings > Privacy & Security > Developer Mode, turn it ON, and reboot your iPhone when prompted.
